We recently carried out a survey of our customers' opinion on our products and our services. In all countries polled and on each market we serve, results came out the same :

     Product quality was the most important criteria for our customers;

     Lafarge Prestia is better than its competitors, in particular its plasters are more consistent.

Consistency of plaster has a great cost-saving impact in our customers' usage : no unexpected behavior of the plaster means no time wasted to adjust, no waste of material, no risk on quality of finished product, greater productivity, etc…

We work strictly along our procedures and work instructions guidelines, which guarantees the consistency of our performance.

We take efficient corrective and preventive actions whenever a problem occurs, making sure it won't happen again.

We set clear product specifications with our customers and detailed contract review so that our products and service always correspond exactly to their demand.


Quality control all along our process

At Lafarge Prestia , quality control starts before our gypsum processing : all raw materials are controlled, and systematically refused if they do not match the specifications we have set for them, as our ISO 9002 procedures and work instructions require.Surface hardeness control

It is absolutely critical that we select the purest gypsum and clean it from its impurities, since even small amounts of some impurities can have negative impact on plaster performance.

Quality control will then be carried out at each step of  the process, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Meticulous and frequent sampling  is carried out in order to adjust on-line the calcination and grinding process parameters, whenever the beginning of a deviation is detected. This enables us to maintain consistent  performance of our plasters, batch after batch, and to send the out-of-spec plasters to waste.

Our Laboratory team works around the clock, under strict ISO 9002 procedures and work instructions, which make our quality results totally reliable.
